施瓊芳(1815-1868)，生於嘉慶二十年，卒於同治七年，年五十四。初名龍文，字見田，一字昭德，又字星階，號珠垣。考中進士後，改名為瓊芳。原籍泉州府晉江縣，其父菁華始移臺灣府治大西門外之南河（今臺南市）。施氏恬淡好學，夜以繼日勤學不懈怠，經史及諸子百家，無不貫通。施氏的詩作意涵除了呈現出詩人本身淡泊好學的生命情境外，亦流注對於社會的現實關懷。本文從《石蘭山館遺稿》的詩作中，從「伉儷情篤的真摯流露」、「十年寒窗終得名」、「淡泊好學的性情」、「臺灣景色、物產的描寫」以及「反映風俗民情」等面向來註釋、賞析，期以見出施瓊芳其人之特質與其詩作之特色。
