This study used qualitative research methods and semi-structured interview outlines as research tools. This study took three in-depth interviews, one with a female amateur golfer and two with female professional golfers. The purpose was to collect the way how top female professional golf players adjust their psychological state and the way how they train, adapt and stabilize their mental state in domestic and foreign professional golf tournaments to get high scores. By using these research tools mentioned, this study analyzed the success of Taiwan female professional golf players and explored the impact of the psychological changes of the players in the game. The content of the interviews can be summarized into six main aspects of psychological state: self-talk, imagery skills, coping with adversity, positive thinking, arousal regulation and goal setting. Self-talk includes strategy and motivation; imagery skills include motivation and cognition; coping with adversity; positive thinking includes normal mind, self-confidence and concentration; arousal regulation includes relaxation, respiratory control and pressure management; goal setting includes results, performance and process. Using qualitative interviews, this study collected the psychological state and changes in the process of Taiwan women's professional golf players and the important psychological factors affecting performance. It is expected that the research results will provide coaches and players who will step into women's professional golf in the future. Psychological training is also critical in addition to technological level. Both technical and psychological advancement can bring better results to players.
