儘管博物館籌措資金須用到行銷原理與技巧的觀念已漸獲認同,但少有論文運用行銷之基本原則和理論基礎來研討博物館行銷的問題。此基本研究的缺失阻礙了博物館界對其消費者行為的瞭解,也妨害了博物館行銷專業知識體系之建立。針對此問題,本文先作一簡短的背景介紹,再綜評與非營利交換行為相關的行銷概念與理論,最後並分析非營利機構所提供的交易產品。
