This paper is intended to identify some common mistakes in questionnairesurvey & statistical analysis. Meanwhile, the author has made suggestions as how tocorrect these mistakes. This paper consists of three parts: (1) common mistakes insampling techniques; (2)ordinary mistakes in questionnair design; (3)usual mistakesof statistical analysis. In summary, the writer suggests that researchers shouldavoid constructing the leading and loading questions when a questionnaire isdesigned; It is also suggested that the random sampling technique should be utilizedto properly represent population, and the measuring scales of variables and theconcept of one-tailed or two-tailed test should be clearly understood. In this paper, the possible pitfalls of statistical techniques in Chi-Square, correlation, T-test andAnova are discussed as well.
