The objective of this study was to evaluate and describe the subjective feelings of student nurses about clinical practices. We collected data with a semi-structured questionnaire by means of a group conversation with 146 samples. The subjects were 5-year graduate student nurses. The results showed that there was a great influence on their experiences in the practicing processes of student nurses among environmental characteristics of practice, the interaction attitude of clinical nurses, self-preparation of students and teaching methods. Different duty-transition makes students feel confused. The difficulties in writing patients' progress reports and high expectations in clinical functioning roles caused students to have frustrated feelings, etc. The planned course for educating students about facing death, effective utilization of time and techniques of communication would be helpful for student nurses in adaptation during practice, alleviating anxiety. Bed-side instructors and clinical nurses should be encouraged or be asked to help students with the ability of clinical skills and the continuous self-training courses.
