The main purpose of this study was to profile ecotourists' characteristics that included their tourism motivations, environmental attitudes, and personal characteristics. The study used the structured-direct questionnaire to collect data. In total, the study obtained 377 valid samples by using simple random sampling method. To describe the results and examine the research hyportheses, the study used several statistics, such as factor analysis, cluster analysis, x�愒est, one-way analysis of variance, and descriptive statistics. The results showed that most of the ecotourists were in the age of 26 to 45; highly educated and unmarried. The have heard of the term of ecotourism and knew what the ecotourism was. Their major motivations were to see the nature of local landscape and experience the environmental education. Furthermore, they had more positive environmental attitudes as compared to other types of tourists. Considering the findings, the study proposed two major conclusions as follows: 1. Different groups of environmental attitudes had different demographic characteristics. 2. Different groups of environmetnal attitudes had significant differences on the agreement level of tourism motivations.
