題名:活動課程評鑑的探討--以美國探索教育活動為例

     活動課程 (activity curriculum) 的課程組織型態又稱為經驗課程 (experience curriculum),前者是比較典型的用詞(黃政傑,1994)。追溯以冒險性活動為主的經驗教育(即探索教育活動)的根源,可以推到一世紀前的教育家和哲學家,諸如:威廉詹姆士 (William James)、約翰杜威 (John Dewey) 到科漢 (Kurt Hahn),若以文化的影響而論,還可以推到更早,上溯到盧梭,或追溯到柏拉圖的年代。然而若以一個正式的教育領域而言,它只是誕生於1970年代早期的新興活動。   因此關心探索教育活動的研究趨向及活動評鑑可說尚在起步的階段。相反地有些心理學的領域如學習理論的實證研究,則可追溯至二十世紀初期。   由於探索教育活動興起的年代尚短,故本研究在探討活動課程的評鑑方法時,先檢視美國早期的探索教育活動評鑑,其次再其檢討目前的作法,並以之為國內未來的活動課程評鑑做出建議。
