     閱讀是每天不經意發生的事,但並不是每個人的閱讀能力都會因此提升。要改善閱讀,除了閱讀者的經驗外,教師也扮演一個重要的角色,經過教師的教導,學生可以自己透過閱讀而學習。 本文將從閱讀的過程著手,說明閱讀中認字、理解與後設認知能力的過程與運作,再根據閱讀的認知歷程,談教師如何幫助學生透過閱讀來學習,包括建立字彙與有組織的知識,以達自我學習的目的。
