Ruohanmen was the old name of Neimen in Kaohsiung County. In order to go deep into the culture of the sung Chiang Battle Array in Ruohamen, the researchers not only searcher and collected information but also realized the life in Ruohanmen by themselves and visit the inhabitants there. The opinions of the origin of the Sung Chiang Battle Array are widely divided and there is no record about it in history. Base on the scholars’ textural research, most of them though that the Sung Chiang Battle Array was started from the dynasty of Ming-zheng. In order to govern Taiwan conveniently, Yong-Hua Chen, who was Cheng-Gong Zheng’s subordinate brought up the policy of residing the politics of education and the soldiers in agriculture. It was a way of combining the folk belive and the local force to train the soldieries. After Ke-Shuang Zheng surrendered to the dynasty of the dynasty of Ching, the rest of soldiers who unwilling devoted to the dynasty of Ching ran away to Neimen and became the source of the Sung Chiang Battle Array there. Be aimed at this research, the researchers define the culture as a group of people develop a way of living to suit the surrounding. The point of the research includes both side of religions and politics. The researchers think that the meaningful cultures of the Sung Chiang Battle Array in Ruohammen are the nature of the physical activities, the preservation of the traditional culture, keeping the normal human relationship, the noble thoughts of uniting the hometown and the form of the local characteristics.
