The main purpose of the study was to realize the present breakfast dietary habits of college students. The subjects were selected by the stratified random sampling method from a population of Hsing Wu College students. A structured questionnaire prepared by the authors were completed by 4478 college students The results of this study are as fallows: 1. There were approximately 83.9% always dieting breakfast (≧4days/week). 2. The main reasons of non-dieting breakfast are “wake up too late to diet” (27.5%) and “no appetite” (20.6%). 3. The favorite breakfast of students is “western style breakfast” (29.6%), “traditional breakfast” (25%), or “bread & milk” (21.6%). 4. Significant difference is identified between sleep habit and breakfast dietary habit. Students who go to bed and wake up earlier have better breakfast dietary habit. 5. Education factor identified to be significant difference and positive correlation with breakfast dietary habit, and then influence the self-image and average grade.
