題名:晨曦部落玩具圖書館之個案探討

本研究旨在探討東臺灣晨曦部落玩具圖書館之籌辦歷程、開辦困境、經營策略與幼童參與情形,蒐集之資料包括訪談內容、文件檔案、觀察記錄和省思札記。研究發現為:(1)獲得當地行政單位資金和場地支援,以及學界在玩具籌募、志工培訓等之專業協助;(2)志工不足及缺乏家長參與是最大困境;(3)調整經營策略,並廣為招募志工;以及(4)部落幼童少有多種類型人工製玩具的經驗,玩具圖書館成為他們的遊戲新天地。本研究對玩具圖書館之經營策略與未來發展提出四點建議:(1)與學校合作;(2)以具體獎勵方式招募志工;(3)讓居民動手布置玩圖環境和DIY 具部落特色之玩具;以及(4)配合鄉立圖書館「書香列車」,定期服務其他部落。
The purpose of this study was to explore the establishment and implementation process of the toy library in the Chenxi tribe. A qualitative-oriented case study method was utilized in this research. Data collection included the interview transcripts of the related people, the reports and documents of the toy library, the researcher’s reflective journals, as well as the field observations. The results of this study were as follows: (a) The toy library was sponsored by the local administrators with the budget and equipment, in addition to the support of the academic society; (b) the difficulties of the establishment process were due to the lack of volunteers and parents’participation; (c) the management strategies and goals were adjusted as more efforts were applied to recruit volunteers; and (d) the tribal children did not have many experiences in playing with various factory-made toys; therefore, the toy library became their new paradise. Four implications for the Chenxi toy library were: (a) cooperating with local schools and making the toy library as children’s activity and parents’ information exchange center, (b) using concrete rewards to recruit parent and student volunteers, (c) inviting local people to design the toy library and DIY toys with tribal features, and (d) serving children in the remote area along with the “Book Mobile” of the township library. Two suggestions for future research were drawn from this study: (a) exploring the values of toys and toy libraries, and (b) exploring the management of other toy libraries in Taiwan.
