本期選目範圍以「公共圖書館社會資源運用」為主題，蒐集相關之中西文論文。 中文方面，選擇民國78年至91年發表過之論文41篇；西文方面則選擇西元1969年至2003年之 間相關期刊論文與研究40篇。中文書目部分依作者姓氏筆劃排列；西文書目部分則按作者英 文字母排列，以便查詢。

　　　　　This paper discusses one of the methods for the libraries to meet the unlimited demand for the general public by using its limited human resources and funding. Thus, this paper, first of all, focues on the target, method, and principle of the allocation of social resources with detailed introduction; furthermore, it provides the future reference for the creation of "win-win" situation, the establishment of the children toy library promoted by both Kaohsiung Municipal Library and Kaohsiung Palette Association Combing the Public Libraries with Social Resources.
