人體之美,在於她是由無數條弧型曲線所構築而成。在近代生活中,女性自我意識的覺醒與工作版圖的擴張,讓女性泳裝跳脫以單純游泳為目的方式,轉而呈現出抽象的、感官的、建築的另類美學。本研究以「複調美學」的概念,讓各式藝術與幾何對話。「複調」讓主觀意識適度的鬆綁,退讓出自體的中心位置,允許多個地位平等的意識,在創作者統一的意識下層層展開。泳裝是最能表現人體美的服裝之一。設計者「以柔軟的弧型線條詮釋縱向設計,以剛硬的筆直線條展現橫向結構」,讓弧線、直線詮釋女性優美的曲線;在素材的組織上,以多種幾何(方、圓、菱、橢圓)與多重美學(律動、反覆、放射)元素,藉由編織技術與材質結構化的過程,推演出泳裝構築的複調之美。「複調美學」暗示了單一主題的破解與多元價值可以並存(共生)的可能實現。
The beauty of human body can be attributed woman's figure consisting of numerous naturally constructed curves. In modern life, women's self-consciousness and the expansion of female role in work place leaped women's swimwear from the purpose of swimming to an aesthetic of abstract, sensory, and architectural. In this study, the ”polyphonic aesthetic” concept provides a dialogue between various art and geometry. ”Polyphony” moderately relaxes the subjective awareness, retreats from the body center, and allows multiple equality of consciousness. It gradually opens up layer by layer under creator's unified consciousness. Swimsuit is the best clothing to showcase the beauty of human body. For this piece, the designer utilized ”soft curve lines to interpret the longitudinal design and rigid straight lines to display the horizontal structure”. The elegant curve line of female is well interpreted by the arc and straight lines. When coordinating the swimsuit fabric, a variety of geometry (square, round, diamond, and oval) and elements of multiple aesthetic (rhythm, repetition, and radiation) were applied. The polyphonic aesthetics of swimsuit was deduced from the weaving technique and the structured fabric process. ”Polyphonic aesthetics” implies the feasibility of coexistence of a broken single theme and multiple values.
