翻譯相關課程如雨後春筍般開設,翻譯能力的培養與訓練日漸受到重視。為因應學習社群日趨多元的需求,提升學生的學習動機及興趣,瞭解學生對課程的期望刻不容緩。本研究將透過問卷調查,探討修讀翻譯相關課程學生的學習動機及期望。從研究調查的修課動機中,不難發現,學生修讀翻譯相關課程的動機多為外在動機,包括升學、就業、兼差、增進語言能力等。內在動機如興趣、好奇心、主觀偏好等,僅占38%。本研究的結果可以協助授課教師調整課程規劃,提高學生的學習成效。
The rapid development of translation programs at home and abroad stresses the importance of translation teaching. In order to cope with the ever more diversified demands from the learning community, in addition to promoting students' learning motivation and interest, it is vital to understand students' expectations of translation classes. The study investigates student motivation in the translation classroom with the use of an online questionnaire; the results from this study could serve as a reference for teachers when designing translation curricula, and enhance student learning effects.
