各種富含普林的食物可能引起高尿酸血症,直被認是痛風的危險因子。為了進步了解飲食和痛風的關聯,本文選讀探討兩篇文獻,根據實證醫學的五個步驟,提出問題、搜尋文獻、嚴格評讀、臨床應用及成效評估。評讀後發現,肉類和海鮮類都會增加痛風發作的風險,而乳製品則會降低風險。攝取富含普林的蔬菜類與痛風發生並無關聯。選評兩篇文獻,獲得充分的證據,依各別病患個人狀況,提出臨床決策建議。透過實證醫學文獻查證獲得最新的知識,以提升照護病人的品質與安全。
Hyperuricemia is a risk factor for gout. Various purine-rich foods intake has long been thought to be a risk factor for gout. In order to further understand the association between diet and gout, we critically reviewed two literatures in this article, based on the evidence-based study methods including asking, acquiring, appraising, applying and auditing. We found that higher levels of meat and seafood consumption are associated with an increased risk of gout, whereas a higher level of consumption of dairy products is associated with a decreased risk. The amount of purine-rich vegetables consumption was not associated with an increased risk of gout. We reviewed and appraised two literatures, summarized and made decisions about the care of individual patient. Promoting new knowledge via evidenced-based process, we improve quality and safety of patient care.
