身心障礙低活動量會造成心肺功能降低、肌力與柔軟度變差等,影響日常生活機能。腦性麻痺患者因肌肉張力與姿勢控制的障礙,導致功能性肌力較差、姿勢穩定困難、肢體動作控制差,減少了活動參與機會。全身震動刺激是由震動刺激發展出來的復健方式,患者站在震動平臺上產生的機械性震動,刺激肌肉活化,改善生理功能。腦性麻痺患者在做一般肌力訓練時常因體能衰退容易疲勞,而無法獲致良好的肌力運動訓練效益。過去研究證實全身震動訓練可有效增進腦性麻痺患者的肌力與柔軟度,強化身體姿勢的控制與穩定,進而改善生理功能,提昇生活品質。
People with disability who engage in low level of activity could effect on their daily life due to cardiovascular deterioration, poor muscle strength and body flexibility. Individuals with cerebral palsy have less opportunity to participate in activity, due to associated disabilities, like muscle tone and posture control, as a result of muscle weakness, postural stability difficulties and poor body control. Whole body vibration is the way of rehabilitation from vibrations stimulate. It was practiced on a vibrating platform where the person is standing in static position or moving in dynamic movements for improving physiology fuctions. Several studies had more marked effect on muscle strength, flexibility, postural control and stability in individuals with cerebral palsy after WBV training. WBV training can effectively enhance physiology functions and quality of life for individuals with cerebral palsy.
