　　　　　The services rendered by public libraries are closely related to the lifelong education of citizens. The role played by public libraries in our society is of great importance. There is no doubt that the effective management of the public libraries, in terms of facilities, collection, finance, rules, promotion, staffing and objectives, will serve a driving force in citizens' willingness for seeking knowledge and education. Thus, the management of public libraries must catch up with technology, social needs and international developments. In addition, the public libraries should constantly adjust its management objective and update its equipment in accordance with social trends, and also play a leading role in laying emphasis on knowledge in our society.
