近年來由於支持性就業的實施,有愈來愈多的智能障礙者能夠進入就業市場中,然而很多研究顯示他們就業率仍然很低,這與他們在工作場所中與同事的互動不良有關。為了使智能障礙者能夠成功的就業,過去研究者採用行為學派的訓練策略(增強、示範等)來訓練智能者的工作社會技能,雖然有成效,但無法類化到新的情境中。愈來愈多的研究者採用認知策略來訓練智障者的工作社會技能,發現更可以增進智障者工作社會技能的學習和類化。因此,本文擬就工作社會技能的內涵、範疇、認知策略的運用以及相關因素的考量,來闡述教導智能障礙者工作社會技能的方式。
