In this paper,an analysis is conducted on library managers’ demographic data,competency,job performance,and their correlation based on the statistics from Chinese Librarian Competency Scale,in terms of the theoretical frame,research process,main results,and suggestions.The research shows:library managers have the outstanding cooperative ability and self-value but lower ability for research;library managers engaged in other industries before have better feeling about library job;there is a lack of professionalism in librarian competency.
