ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between moral judgment and family influential factors of hearing impaired students. To use quantitative analysis and qualitative interview methods to know the real situation. The instruments used in the study were students information data, social issues opinion questionnaire and parents’ rearing attitude test. The subjects contain 377 students on investigation analysis study, 12 students on qualitative study. The data was down by spss/PC+. The major findings are as follows:
Ⅰ、For the whole part, the moral judgment of hearing impaired students is lower than that of normal students. The moral judgment of parts of hearing impaired students has some tendency such as punishment and obedience orientation, more result less motivation and wrong view of attribution.
Ⅱ、The moral judgment ability of hearing impaired students is correlated with the grade. That is it’s getting higher according to a fixed procedure (stage). The developmental pattern or the moral judgment is consistent although it is affected by culture or education.
Ⅲ、There are differences of moral judgment of hearing impaired students on the back ground variable.
1. There is no significant difference of moral judgment of junior high school hearing impaired students on different sex and grade. There is significant difference of moral judgment of junior high school hearing impaired students on different districts and educational displacement. The moral judgment of north district junior high school hearing impaired students is better than that of south district. The moral judgment scores of special class for the hearing impaired junior high school students are higher than that of hearing impaired junior high school students.
2. There is no significant difference of moral judgment of hearing impaired senior high school students on different gender, grade and district.
3. There is significant difference of moral judgment of hearing impaired students on different educational stage. That is - the moral judgment of hearing impaired senior high school students scores high than that of junior high school hearing impaired students.
Ⅳ、The correlation between family influential factors and moral judgment of hearing impaired students:

2. There is significant correlation between moral judgment and the items of parents rearing attitude ─ rejection, strictness, conflict, dissension of senior high school hearing impaired students.
3. There is no significant correlation between moral judgment ability and socioeconomic status, birth order, family communication style and parents’ hearing condition on special class for the hearing impaired junior high school students. There is significant correlation between moral judgment ability and family structure.
4. There is no significant correlation between moral judgment ability and socioeconomic status, birth order, family communication style and parents’ hearing condition on hearing impaired junior high school students.
5. There is no significant correlation between moral judgment ability and socioeconomic status, birth order, family structure and parents’ hearing condition on hearing impaired senior high school students. There is significant correlation between moral judgment ability and family communication style.
Ⅴ、Family influential factors toward the prediction of moral judgment for hearing impaired students:
1. 13.05% variance of moral judgment on special class of hearing impaired junior high school students can be predicted by parents’ rearing attitude and family structure.
2. 15.30% variance of moral judgment on hearing impaired junior high school students can be predicted by parents’ rearing attitude.
3. 19.38% variance of moral judgment on hearing impaired senior high school students can be predicted by parents’ rearing attitude and family communication style.
Beyond the result discussed above in this study, I also proposed some suggestions for educational administrative institution, school education, family education and further advanced study to implement moral education for the hearing impaired students.
