青少年同志認同過程在國內外文獻中很少發現，本研究針對四位年紀在十七到二十歲自我認定的男同志做訪談調查，得到的結論是目前這四位青少年同志的認同發展過程大致上是經由「覺察與懷疑」、「探索與對照」、到「肯定與認同」三個階段；認同過程中最大的阻礙來自大社會的不容忍與敵意，擔心現身之前的經濟與情感依賴、之後親人會遭受到親族的壓力與疏離。四位青少年的認同發展深淺不同，與其個人所採取的行動積極與否有關。

Research on gay adolescents' identification is scarce in current literature. This article is targeting gay adolescents ranging from 17-to 20-year-olds and investigating their identification formation through semi-interview. The results show that the general processes these participants have been experiencing are "awareness and doubt", "exploration and comparison", and "assertion and identification". The most formidable obstacle during the processes is from the society's intolerance and even hostility towards this population. The financial and emotional dependence on the family as well as the predictable pressure and isolation from relatives are the major concerns regarding “coming-out" issue. However, the identification development differs from case to case.
