本文從都市環境觀點，探索近年台北市空間再造的歷程。從分析中發現，這樣的過程不僅為藝文空間本身的跨越與呈現，更是藝文及其空間介入都市社會與關係市民公共性建構的連續過程。再者，面對創意思維與都市競爭趨勢，可預期藝術文化將成為驅動都市再生的關鍵項目。是故，本文擬進一步探討創意文化思維下藝文空間的定位，並推想藝術文化連結都市更新發展的新空間關係。

This study aims to show that the current “rehabilitation of unused space in Taipei City” is a product of the interactions among art development, cultural policy and society. It is also part of a series of interventions in civic public construction. “Creativity” has become the most powerful capital in this era of the knowledge-based economy, thus culture and art are key to urban renewal. This study attempts to elaborate on a new spatial relationship between art and urban development.
