鄉土文學作家黃春明，一九六六年由宜蘭移居台北，創作重心遂由鄉土移往都市。隨著生活場域的變遷，他敏銳的察覺其間的社會變化與文化異變，並反映在作品之中。一九七一年至一九七九年間，黃春明先後發表了〈兩個油漆匠〉、〈蘋果的滋味〉、〈莎喲娜啦‧再見〉、〈小寡婦〉、〈我愛瑪莉〉等五篇以城市爲背景，寫都市生活體驗及工商變遷爲題材的城市小說。本文擬由此五篇小說出發，透過語言風格的探討，發掘文化面向，探討黃春明作品中所呈顯的社會現象與文化意涵。

This article thus the starting five novels, through the language of style, to explore culture oriented to explore works by Huang Chun-Ming were significantly social situation and cultural meaning.
