摘要 本研究以社會企業創業家做為研究對象,探討社會創業家社會資本形成之原因, 以及瞭解所形成之企業家社會資本對企業創業與創新之作用。首先,透過關係網絡的 結構特徵來瞭解社會企業家在個人創業過程中的社會互動關係,瞭解社會企業家的社 會資本在個人創業過程中所形成之原因與路徑,以及在個人創業過程中,社會資本的 維持與運作方式。其次,進一步探討社會資本對社會企業家在創業與創新上的影響, 包括創業契機掌握能力、核心資源與能力之取得、以及透過資源整合能力以及企業學 習成長能力在產品創新、企業價值創新、典範創新與永續經營能力之展現等部分。本 研究採用質化研究之個案研究方法,對上述的研究問題進行實證性研究,研究結果發 現,社會資本對創業行為以及創新能力均有影響。社會企業家能從他們的社會關係網 絡中感知、獲取資源與知識技術並從中萃取出社會價值與商業價值:一是社會資本可 幫助企業家掌握創業契機;二是社會企業家可經由其社會網絡獲取創業資源,而社會 資本可以作為創業者重要的資源稟賦;三是企業家將社會資源投入於社會企業中,經 由企業整合資源、學習與創新等之企業動態能力,可作為創新資源開發、新產品以及 經營模式再創新的基礎。
Abstract An entrepreneur’s social capital is very important for the entrepreneurship and innovation. Social enterprises, which are organizations emphasizing simultaneously social value and business performance, have become the main model of entrepreneurship. So this study aims to investigate the effect of entrepreneurs’ social capital on entrepreneurship and innovation of social enterprises. This study presents a theoretical framework based on the review of related literature and uses the case study method in a well-known social enterprise case in Taiwan to explore how social capital be used in the mechanism of the process of entrepreneurship. This study contributes to developing a framework of the effect of the entrepreneur’s social capital on entrepreneurship and innovation of social enterprises. The result can serve as theoretical foundation and practical guides for the social entrepreneurship.
