The purpose of this study is to understand and predict the differences of weight-lossing behaviors among women resulting from demographic variables, and to provide reference to health facilitating institutes when developing educational material of women body awareness. This study surveyed 500 women in Hsinchu with stratified random sampling, and was able to retrieve 458 effective samples. The data was analyzed with statistical methods including descriptive statistics, ANOVA, T-test, Scheffe's post hoc analysis, chi-square analysis and logistic regression. Our result suggested that demographic variables significantly predicted women's weight-lossing behaviors and caused significant differences. Base on our result, we advice women to develop proper diet plans, regular exercising activities and body weight control. When selecting weight-lossing activities, consult to professional fitness advisors first. Meanwhile, women should fortify relevant fitness knowledge in order to freely control their bodies and to achieve ideal figures.
