有生自必有死，死是人生的實情，每個人都會死，但未必每個人都活著，何以如此，這便很耐人尋味。有些人很諱言死亡，不敢正視它，以為這樣便會沒事似的，或誤以為自己年紀尚輕，死亡還很早，以致真正面臨生離死別時，往往頓失所措，驚慌恐懼，搶天呼地，不知如何是好，未免是人生的遺憾。甚至有人認為該死的時候就會死了，有什麼好掛慮的。說的容易，臨死時是否真的灑脫自在，畢竟還是未可知。生死事大，無常迅速，死亡既很確定，萬一有朝一日淪落到求生不能，求死不得的窘況，便很難堪。人生什麼事都很計較，唯獨對此一事，卻很不在乎，毫無準備，便有點說不過去。 本文擬從個人經歷的親朋好友死亡過程中，探討些何以應為死亡預做準備、怎樣適切為死亡預做準備的具體可行方法、死亡啟示，及怎樣活出生命的品質。

Death is the reality of life, every man dies, but not every man lives, why does it is so? It does deserve us to ponder. Some people are so fear to discuss death, dare not to face it, regarding that by this way they can always be all right, or regarding they are so young that death is still far away until they inevitably have to face it. Death is a crucial event in the life, impermanence is so speed and an universal phenomenon, while death is so certain, we should know how to avoid being drawn into the awkward situation while living is so difficult and dying is also very uneasy. In this life, we care many things while only unknowing and unprepared to face the inevitability of death. Does it sound good? We cannot avoid to reflect it.
