This study is aimed at the analysis of the performance of the champion (Germany) and the secondary team (Argentina) of 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The method of this study is to watch the matches with slow play and record goals, loses, shots, shots on goal and some other statistics by DVD recorded from ELTA Sport TV broadcast. Data are processing by descriptive statistics and t-test. The results: 1. Germany has 10 more goals than Argentina and also 1.43 more goals averagely in each game. It has significant difference and that is to say more goals will get higher chance to win. 2. Germany has 96 shots and it’s less than Argentina’s 109 shots. It has significant difference. Although Argentina has more shots but Germany has 69 shots on goal and it’s 70% of their shots. Argentina has 63 shots on goal and it’s 59% of their shots. So, the more shots on goal will increase the probability of goals and evaluate the chance to win.
