本研究以310位公私立機構職業婦女在「母性態度量表」上的反應，分析樣本對母性態度的看法，結果發現： (1) 樣本的母性態度稍傾向積極；(2) 教育程度與工作滿意程度對樣本的母性態度影響顯著；(3) 已未婚、年齡、子女人數與工作忙碌程度對樣本的母性態度影響不顯著。根據上述研究發現，本研究提出下列具體的建議：(1) 確認母道為女性之天臟、立國之根本；(2) 促進現代婦女智能的運用；(3) 現代職業婦女應知識與德性兼備；(4) 婦女應儘量選擇自覺滿意的工作。

310 employed women of public or private organizations were investigated with their responses on the "Maternal Attitude Scale." The results show that: (1) the maternal attitude of the sample leaned somewhat toward positive end; (2) level of education and level of work satisfaction had significant influences on maternal attitude; (3) variables such as married or unmarried, age, number of children, and level of work busyness were found no significant influences on maternal attitude. According to the findings mentioned above, the study suggests that: (1) motherhood is a woman's duty, as well as a foundation of a nation; (2) modern woman's potentialities should be developed; (3) a modern employed woman must possess knowledge and morality, and (4) a woman must select the work which she will possibly be satisfied with.
