本研究目的在了解我國中學輔導人員對電腦的觀感與態度，並分析性別、年齡、學歷、接觸電腦經驗、性質焦慮傾向、及服務學校性質與規模等變項與電腦態度的關係。根據277名國中及高中職校輔導人員的反應，結果發現： (1) 中學輔導人員對電腦的態度尚稱積極，但對其負面影響仍有疑慮，性別刻扳作用亦相當明顯；(2) 輔導人員性別與學歷之不同，其對電腦的態度亦有顯著差別；(3) 年齡，接受電腦訓練的經驗、及服務學校性質與規模等變項並未造成樣本對電腦的態度有顯著的差異現象；(4) 特質焦慮傾向為預測電腦態度最重要的變項，性別變項次之，學歷與訓練經驗又次之。研究者根據各項研究發現，分別就增進輔導人員對電腦的認識，建立積極應對的態度，以及未來研究方面，提出具體建議事項。

This study investigated the influence of sex, age, educational level, computer training, and school level and scale upon attitudes of high school counselors toward computer. Two hundred and seventy seven responded to the questionnaire, "Computer and I." Results of the study indicated that: (1) In generally, high school counselors' attitudes toward computer were relatively positive, but there was some anxiety on its negative influence. The sex-typing phenomenon was also shown in this study. (2) Significant difference existed between groups of different sexes. Educational levels also made significant different responses. Other variables showed little or no impact on their attitudes. (3) Personal trait anxiety had the most effect upon the attitudes, although the R2 was low, indicating the selected predictors did not explain much of the variance in computer attitudes. Recommendations include the formation of positive attitudes toward computers and further study on this interesting topic.
