The purpose of this study was to investigate the musical acoustics of music education through the analysis of research literature on physics, acoustics, musicology, education and aesthetics. In addition to preface and conclusion, this text included the basic concepts of musical acoustics, the relationship between music fundamentals and musical acoustics, and the acoustic foundations of performing and listening to music. The results, showed that each aspect of music education was deeply influenced by musical acoustics. Only with the exact recognition to musical acoustics, music education would fruit well. On the contrary, the practice of music education would be beneficial to the research of acoustics too. Therefore, the connection between music education and musical acoustics should be put into practice appropriately in order to agree with the spirit of uniting with the relation between subjects.
