　　　　　生活品質是國家發展與社會資源規劃的重要指標，近幾年來已經逐漸受到國際社會的重視。本研究的目的就是以世界衛生組織（WHO）的生活品質架構為基礎來發展生活品質量表。我們在文獻中介紹了過去生活品質概念的演進及測量上的爭議，並提出解決之道。我們也實際編製了生活品質量表，並以Rash模式來對題目及受試者的反應進行分析，篩選不恰當的題目、區辨出測量失敗的受試者。我們以洛基分數與原始分數來探討性別在生活品質上的差異，並闡述本研究的應用價值、意涵與未來研究建議。
　　　　　Quality of life is an important index to country development and has been used to allocate social-welfare resources. The importance has been recognized nationwide in recent years. The purpose of this study is to develop an inventory of quality of life based on the construct suggested by the World Health Organization Quality of Life Group. Constructs and measurement issues of quality of life are discussed. Rasch technique is applied to analyze item response Bad-fitting items and subjects are identified. Gender difference is investigated in term of the logit scale and raw scores. Applications, implications, and suggestions for future studies are also addressed.
