題名:適用國小學童於網際網路學習資料庫的主題導引式檢索策略之研究

     本研究旨在針對網際網路學習資料庫提出一種主題導引式的檢索介面,來有效 地促進國小學童在使用網際網路學習時,電腦態度與自然科學成就的增強,並能同時提升檢 索準確率與檢索有效率。本研究以140名高雄市國小五年級學童為樣本,為了進一步了解檢 索過程中,認知型態所造成的差異,受試者依其認知型態分為場地獨立(FI)組與場地依賴 (FD)組後,再隨機分成主題檢索組與全文檢索組。經過電腦態度量表與自然科學學習成就測 驗前側、自然科動物資料庫檢索活動、電腦態度量表與自然科學學習成就測驗後測之後,並 從樣本中立意取樣16人,做半結構性的晤談,以發現學生的困擾所在。從實驗結果發現:使 用主題導引式檢索介面的國小學童,在檢索有效率方面優於使用全文檢索介面的國小學童; 而在電腦態度、自然科學成就、檢索準確率等方面上並無差異。再則,FI型的國小學童,在 主題導引式的檢索介面下,其電腦態度、檢索有效率方面優於FD型的國小學童,但在自然科 學成就與檢索準確率方面的表現,並沒有差異。而從晤談分析中,可以發現:主題導引介面 可藉由問題來搜集使用者的意圖以避免輸入關鍵字,然當問題過於艱深時,學生往往不易了 解;而全文檢索雖使用簡單,但學生因字彙有限,無法輸入符合其檢索目的的關鍵詞,形成 負荷。因此,本研究結果可作為在設計適用於國小學童檢索介面時的重要參考。
     This paper focuses on the improvement of the computer attitude and nature science learning achievement as well as on the promotion of retrieval precision and retrieval efficiency from Web databases by applying a subject-leading question retrieval interface. To realize the divergence from the various recognition types during retrieval process, 140 samples from fifth grade elementary school students in Kaohsiung city were divided into field independent type group (FI) and field dependent (FD) by the various cognition styles and then each group was divided into subgroups randomly such as, Subject-leading subgroup, and Full-text retrieval subgroup. Two-way ANCOVA analysis is adopted for this collected data. There are no significant difference between all groups in computer attitude, nature science leading achievement and retrieval precision, respectively. The computer attitude and retrieval efficiency of the students of FI type group students was superior to FD type group's. However, there is no significant difference between them in performance of nature science leading achievement and retrieval efficiency under the subject-leading retrieval interface. BY interview analyzing, it can be found that the usage intension could be collected by question in subject-leading interface without typing in anyother word. However, the students could not realize the heavier comprehensive question. For all that the usage of all texture retrieval is so simple, the students can not key in the right key word matched the right retrieving items for their limited vocabulary ability. It could be a barrier for students. The data of this research could be a good reference for the design of the retrieval interface for the primary school student.
