本研究旨在從『關係涉入』的觀點探討組間合作關係,並試圖歸納影響關係涉入的前置因素,及關係涉入對於合作結果的影響。針對2001年天下雜誌一千大製造業廠商進行調查,並根據所回收問卷資料進行實證分析,研究結果發現:(1)組織間整合程度愈高,則關係績效與關係品質愈佳;關係涉入的前置因素可提升合作雙方的整合程度。(2)專屬性投資對合作績效並無顯著的影響;外在環境所引發的不確定性愈高、愈是公平的分享合作成果、夥伴間策略目標相容性程度愈高,將促進合作雙方進行專屬性投資的意願。(3)當夥伴對於合作關係愈關心與重視時,合作績效將明顯提升,但對於合滿意與信任方面,則呈不顯著關係。此外,關係涉入的前置因素皆無助於刺激夥伴對於合作關係的投入。
