本文從博物館社會教育的角度出發,融合個人之策展經驗,思考「臺灣工業發展展示中心」(以下簡稱展示中心)存在之意義,描繪它應有的樣貌,以觀點,焦點與賣點分別論述展示中心有關展示理念的訂定、展示內容的選取及展示手法的選擇,希望有助於展示中心問題的釐清及其永續經營。在「觀點」面向上,阐明展示中心之展示任務、臺灣工業化特色定位及詮釋面向選取等之思維脈絡,期能廣納各種理念,中肯平實地融入展示內容,使其更具包容性與進步性;在「焦點」面向上,論述展示中心之展示架構建立、展示主軸掌握及展示產業選取等之考量,盼能將龐雜的展示資料聚焦,轉化為有組識與層級的展示內容,幫助觀眾記憶學習;而在「賣點」面向上,強調從觀眾的角度思考、尋找有吸引力的展品及趣味化的呈現,期能寓教於樂,在知識中提供娛樂,學習中注入趣味。展示中心之建置是一個基礎,一個開端,它的永續經營與發展有待我們細心的灌溉與支持。而展示中心的展示規劃是一個溝通與融合的過程,經過辨證思考與相互激盪,我們期望這樣的展示中心是一個有觀點、有焦點、有賣點的地方,能夠真正成為臺灣經濟奇蹟的註腳與對話的平臺。
This article begins from the views of social educational function of museums. Combining personal experiences of exhibition planning and design, it examines the existential meanings of the History of Industrial Development in Taiwan Gallery, and proposes a new appearance for this exhibition. With viewpoints, focal points, and selling points, it covers the settings of exhibition concept, the choices of exhibition content, and the selections of exhibition technique separately. It might be helpful to clarify the position problems and be constructive for its sustainable operation of the gallery. On the viewpoints, it explains the threads of thoughts about the mission of the exhibition, the characteristics of Taiwan's industrialization, and the choices of interpretation aspects. It intends to absorb all kinds of ideas broadly, to blend exhibition contents appropriately, and to make this exhibition more comprehensive and progressive. On the focal points, it discusses the building consideration of the exhibition structure, the grasp of axis of the exhibition, and the chosen of industries for the exhibit. It is expected to focus on the numerous and jumbled exhibition information and convert them into organized and hierarchical contents for the audience. On the selling points, it emphasizes the importance of the audience's view point by looking for attractive artifacts, and interesting exhibit methods. It plans to imply education in entertainment, to add amusement to knowledge, and to make learning fun. The establishment of this gallery is a base and a beginning. Its sustainable operation and development depends on our irrigation and support with care. The exhibition planning of this gallery is a communicating and integrating process through identified consideration and mutual agitating. We hope that this gallery is a place filled with viewpoints, focal points, and selling points, and it could really become a footnote of Taiwan economic miracle and a base of dialogue.
