The purpose of this study was to understand the recreational sport habit and block factor of the university students. The data was obtained randomly form the 300 freshmen in Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. 274 questionnaires were usable for this study. And the study tool was “The Questionnaires of Recreational Sport Habit and Block Factor of University Students.” The data were evaluated by the description statistic, Chi-Square tests and t-test. The level of significance .05 was selected to test all hypotheses. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The recreational sport habit of university students. 1) The top three favorable recreational sport are baseball, badminton, and jogging. 2) The university students participate in recreational sport 1-2 times weekly. 3) The university students spend about 1-2 hours in recreational sport every time. 4) Most of the university students spend less than 500 NTD on recreational sport monthly. 5) Most of the university students do the warm-up exercise before doing exercise, and few do the cool-down exercise after doing exercise. 2. There were significant differences between the recreational sport habits of university students in demographic factors. 3. There were significant differences between the block factors in participation of university students in demographic factors.
