The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of post-modernism on digital media design. According to literature analysis, post-modern design encompasses diverse creative themes, such as history, fairy tales, nature, scientific fiction, people, vogue and life. It also expresses diverse creative methods, such as deconstruction, collage, deformation, contradiction, overlapping, narrative and play. In Addition, metaphor, satire, revivalism, vernacular, Punk, New Wave and High-Tech are also the popular styles for post-modern design. Since the interactive website is a typical style of post-modernity and a representative of digital media design, this study aims to collect and analyze the data from “Interactive Media Awards 2006”. By using content analysis, these websites will be evaluated in terms of the different dimensions of post-modernism.
