In recent years, it is very usual that college students do the part-time job when they are still the students. But many people think it will influence their achievements if they work after school. Nowadays there are many vocational college and institutes; we hope this research is to discuss the reasons that students do the part-time job and their plans after graduating as well as the relationship between part-time work hours and academic achievement. The research methods are including descriptive statistic method, cross analysis, T-test, and correlation analysis. We also use in-depth interview to talk with the managers in human-hunt companies. The research discovered the results that vocational college and institute students doing the part-time job is for life, the second reason is for leisure and entertainment and the third reason is for filling up the free time. We also discover that vocational college and institute students plan to work after graduating; the second plan is to continue studying at graduate schools. We also discover it shows the significant result between sex and purposes of doing the part-time job as well as graduate plans. There is non-significant result between different grades and the purpose of doing the part-time job as well as graduate plan. The academic achievement negative influence work hours, the numbers of doing the part-time jobs influence academic achievement. When we use in-depth interview, we discover the main reason for the managers hiring social freshmen is their attitude when they are interviewed. The second one is interviewee's major and graduate school. The third reason is their association experience. The managers do not consider the experience of doing the part-time job.
