In this article I argue that there are many problems in the biographies for children in Taiwan. By supporting examples I discuss five issues as followings, first, fictional materials were misused as historical facts in biography. Second, ancient system of length, weight, capacity and currency were retold without explaining the difference to the modern system. Third, the action and speech of characters were misrepresented. Forth, mistakes were remained when borrowing information from others biographies. Fifth, great men or women were shaped by ignoring important events. In sum, I argue that many biographers didn't spend enough time to study for their works. Besides, I suggest that biography for children should be supported by better illustrations.
