隨著科技設備的普遍與學習思潮的轉移,教師在課堂中的教學型態需要改變。有些文獻認為,資訊科技在教學的應用不能只思考教師層面,應強調讓科技成為學生藉以學習的心智工具,進而在學習過程中建構知識(Bauer & Kenton, 2005; Jonassen, Howland, Moore, & Marra, 2003)。簡單而言,資訊科技融入教學並非關注教師運用科技進行的教學講述,而是培養學生操作資訊科技,進而在學習中獲得建構知識機會的一種教學活動。
