Women in Taiwan on average have their menstruation between the age of 13 and 50 years ago and half of them have experienced different pre and post menstrual syndromes. In particular, psychological emotion and physical pains are two major influential factors in daily life of women mainly resulting from "premenstrual syndromes" (PMS). At present, there are more than 200 types of premenstrual syndromes including physical, psychological and behavioral changes and some even are associated with mental diseases. Along with the increasing female awareness, relevant treatment needs of PMS have become one of the focuses for the female to look for good life quality. This study, from the perspectives of female and menstrual disturbance factors, impact of physical fitness activities on health, relevant studies on PMS, and the benefits of physical fitness activities for PMS, gradually examines the impacts of physical fitness activities on PMS.
