題名：醫院員工對醫療廢棄物風險特性、風險知覺與廢棄物處理過程認知之研究--以雲林地區區域醫院為例

本研究目的旨在探討區域暑院中不同單位及背景之員工對醫療廢棄物風險特性、風險知覺與廢棄物處理過程認知的影響，提供區域醫院相關單位在管理醫療廢棄物上的重要政策。本研究針對雲林地區四所區域醫院為研究對象，共發放500份，得有效樣本367份，有效樣本回收率73.4%；並將回收後之有效樣本資料，利用統計套裝軟體（SPSS 12.0、Smart PLS）進行資料分析。在統計分析方法使用上，利用單因子變異數分析檢定樣本與廢棄物風險特性、風險知覺、廢棄物處理過程認知間的差異，並以結構方程模式檢定廢棄物風險特性、風險知覺與廢棄物處理過程認知間的相關性。研究結果發現不同性別、所屬單位、工作資歷與教育程度的員工對於醫療廢棄物風險特性、風險知覺有顯著性差異，對於醫療廢棄物處理過程認知僅有不同性別之員工有顯著性差異。醫療廢棄物風險特性、風險知覺對廢棄物處理過程認知產生正向影響。此研究結果，可提供區域醫院在管理醫療廢棄物的風險特性、風險知覺上的重要參考。此外，醫療廢棄物風險特性對風險知覺有顯著正相闕，廢棄物風險知覺對廢棄物處理過程認知有顯著正相闕，醫院藉由教育訓練，讓員工對醫療廢棄物風險特性、風險知覺與廢棄物處理過程有深入的瞭解。
This study examined the relationships among medical waste risk characteristics, risk perception, and awareness of disposal processes for regional hospitals employees from different departments. The results of the study offer insights into medical waste policy that can be adopted in regional hospitals and related organizations. Respondents were selected from 4 regional hospitals in Yunlin area. Five-hundred questionnaires were submitted and 367 completed, yielding a response rate of 73.4%. This study used SPSS 12.0 and Smart PLS to analyze data. One-way analysis of variance was used to examine the differences between medical waste risk characteristics, perception of risk, and perception of waste disposal. Structural equation modeling was adopted to analyze the relationships among risk characteristics, risk perception, and waste disposal processing perception. This study shows that employees exhibiting disparate characteristics, such as differences in gender, department, years worked, and educational background, evinced different satisfaction ratings concerning risk characteristics and risk perceptions. Employees of different gender showed varying satisfaction ratings regarding perceptions of waste disposal processing. In addition, risk characteristics had a significant and positive effect on risk perception, and risk perception had a significant and positive effect on perception of waste disposal processing. This study's findings provide regional hospitals with insights into medical risk characteristics, perception of risk, and perception of medical waste disposal processing. Moreover, because medical waste risk characteristics and risk perception significantly affected perception of medical waste processing, hospitals must adopt training to educate their employees about medical waste characteristics and risk.
