The purpose of this study was to understand the distribution of the background variables on female divers characteristics and differences of leisure motivation, leisure involvement, and leisure constraints and to further explore the correlations among the three variables. This study adopted questionnaires and the subjects included females who engaged in recreational diving activities in Kenting region. The research tools adopt included leisure motivation, leisure involvement, and leisure constraints scales. In this study, 353 valid questionnaires were collected. The statistical methods included descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis. The results were as the following: The age of the female divers were between 20 and 29 years old, college degree and occupation was students. They diving experience was less than one year. They possessed level open water diving license and have diving license. In leisure motivation, the female scuba divers showed significant differences in their age, educational level, occupation, years of diving, with or without license, level of diving. In leisure involvement, the female scuba divers showed significant differences in their educational level, occupation, years of diving, level of diving. In leisure constraints, the female scuba divers showed significant differences in their educational level, occupation, years of diving, with or without license, level of diving. Leisure motivation, involvement, and constraints were positive correlations。Leisure involvement showed predictive power on leisure constraints.
