Objectives: The aim of this study was to establish a platform for employee health management, so that employee health nurses could use it to promote quality employee healthcare, provide effective health management, analyze employee health information, and improve the work environment. Methods: We developed a survey questionnaire about the employee health management platform and summarized the literature and relevant government rules. Based on the results of the demand and information analysis and the surveys of employee health nurses and experts, we established the platform prototype. Results: After analyzing the demands for health management for both employers and employees, we developed an employee health management platform in accordance with Labor Health Protection Rules and occupational health demands. Conclusions: After implementation of the employee health management platform, the employee health nurses and managers agreed that the platform prototype made employee health management easier and more efficient. This research was a pilot study however, so some functions have yet to be developed, and the platform should be customized for different industries with the ultimate goal of caring for the health of all Taiwan's workers.
