San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) signed with both the department of library and information sciences (LIS) of National Taiwan University and Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) for The Observational Learning Agreement in 2017. Two students were chosen from each school participate the learning program this summer. The authors shared their experiences from the perspectives of the FJCU-LIS in this paper. Overall, the open, innovative and cooperative organizational culture of SFPL is very impressive. Several amazing features are as follows: the city memory repository, international and comprehensive subdivisions in reference services, various innovative activities and special divisions, wonderful children and teen services, plentiful collection and beautiful branches from inside to outside, etc. SFPL provide all kinds of services relating to food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, recreation and music, which are engaging in everyone's daily life and reaching to the goal of ubiquitous library services.
