     審視現代科技波濤洶湧的潮流,重新省思人文主義的思想意涵成為一件頗為緊要的思想工作。當代的人文主義思想呈現出分歧而多姿的風貌。若要深入批握其紋理全貌,非短短篇幅所可覶縷其詳。本文僅就當代新儒家學者唐君毅所標榜之「圓滿的人文主義」與法國天主教神學家馬里坦所提倡的「整全的人文主義」,對比其思維理路分歧之重心在於「以人為中心」與「以神為中心」的不同。綜合言之,前者的思想格局雖然能建立在一個涵蓋宗教、自然、與人文(天地人三才之道)的廣闊存有論的基礎之上,卻有所侷限於人的道德主體性,而不能真正地開放宗教的超越向度,而其自然哲學的份量也有待更進一步的發揮。後者對於「以人為中心」之人主義的種種偏差能提出深刻的解析與批判,且其「以神為中心」之人文主義的義理建構,也能發揚人的尊貴性及其在現世社會與政治中的重要性,卻因著過於發揮人的超越性或神性而忽略了人性本身的需要。因此,筆者嘗試提出以「天人合一」與「神人合一」相類似的終極目標,從兩個相反的路徑(從主體性到超主體性、與從超主體性到主體性),探索兩個路徑匯合的可能性。
     After inspecting the rapid development of modern science and technology, it is a very important task for us to reflect on the meanings of various kinds of Humanism. While contemporary Humanistic thoughts show different features, the writer can't give a comprehensive analytic comment on all of them is this relatively short paper. Therefore, we just introduce two kinds of Humanism: T'ang Chun-I's "Complete Humanism" and Jacques Maritain's "Integral Humanism. The former is Anthropocentric Humanism while the latter is Theocentric Humanism; they are close in the ultimate concern of "the unity of Heaven and Man," though there are still some differences in between.
