我們的地球，從太空俯看就像一顆藍色的夜明珠，所以我們稱呼地球為「藍色行星」。然而自工業革命以來，人類在地球上的過度開發與利用，已使地球的環境逐漸蒙上陰影。因為大地一經破壞，將很難再現它原有的生機與美麗的風采。所以，自1970年開始，每年4月22日，許多人熱烈參與地球日活動，共同來關心地球、愛護地球。 本研究之研究目的，係為因應我國國民中小學暫行課程綱要的實施，落實「環境教育」議題融入「自然與生活科技」學習領域，針對如何設計與推展地球日教學活動進行探討，希望增進國小教師編選「環境教育」教學活動的能力，並擴大辦理地球日活動，協助國小學童發展正確環境教育知能、態度、和行動經驗，並提升國小學童的科學素養。研究方法以歷程檔案質性分析為主。 主要研究結果包括：(1) 有關地球日國小統整教學活動設計的模式與內容，值得國小師生參考利用；(2) 對參與教學活動設計及擔任地球日實務教學的實習教師而言，能充分增進其教育專業成長與進步。根據研究所得結果，本研究建議，地球日國小統整教學活動之研究成果與經驗，值得進一步推廣實施，作為推行國小階段九年一貫「自然與生活科技」學習領域與「環境教育」議題實施的參考。

　　　　　The purpose of this study was to develop an Earthday integration teaching module. The findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1.It is established a set of procedures for preparing the Earthday integration teaching module, and completing a set of the Earthday module curricula. 2.Contents of the Earthday integration teaching module can be used in the primary schools to promote students' science learning outcomes and environmental awareness. 3.Preservice teachers participating in this study also get benefits, especially putting theory into practice on the environmental education issues.
