The purpose of this study was to construct a set of leave no trace (LNT) one-day courses and assess the effects of LNT knowledge, environmental attitude and promotion status after one month. The first draft course design was followed the review literature and then experts and scholars were invited to provide recommendations. According to the recommendations, the LNT one-day courses were constructed. The participants of this study were 35 junior high school teachers. This study used questionnaires and interviews to assess the effect of the courses. Data analysis was conducted by SPSS 17.0 for Windows. The statistical methods including: paired sample t-test and effect size. In the interview of this study, three selected teachers were investigated for following promotion status. The results of this study were followings: Firstly, the LNT knowledge and the environmental attitude showed increase significant. Secondly, the teachers promoted the LNT one-day courses to others. Finally, according to research findings, this study also gives suggestions for future research and LNT promotion courses.
