The institutes for teacher education emphasize professional knowledge of education and operational ability of instructional media after point out of the nine year joint curriculum reform and national examination for teacher qualification, because they want to improve the employment ratio of graduates and avoid to reduce classes or to dissolve their institutes from ministry of education. Owing to neglect the importance of educational ethic in consciously, the system for teacher education can't cultivate teachers, who include both professional knowledge and ethic of education. That makes establishment of professional ethic of education very difficult, it's disadvantageous for correction of student's false values, cultivation of teacher's vocational moral, formation of good relationship between teacher and student, and establishment of school ethic. Consequently, we must through employ more professional teachers, enrich curriculum plan for professional ethic, integrate professional ethic to instructional activities, emphasize professional ethic during educational practicum, add educational ethics to subjects of national examination, require to test educational ethics in process of teacher selection, cultivate human resource in field of educational ethics, establish research center or institute for educational ethics, support the journals of educational ethic, gather information about educational ethic from country all over the world, encourage interrelated study of educational ethics or convoke academic meeting about educational ethics, then we can cultivate teachers, who include both professional knowledge and ethic of education, in order to increase effects of school education in Taiwan.
