本研究之目的在於修訂Conroy、Motl和Hall的健身運動自我呈現量表(Self­Presentation in Exercise Questionnaire，簡稱SPEQ)為中文版，以有氧舞蹈班學員、健身俱樂部會員、大專學生及一般從事健身運動的民眾為受試者檢驗其信度典故度。本量表經因素分析、項目分析後，顯示本量表由「自我呈現的動機」與「自我呈現的建構」兩個因素構成，所能解釋總變其量為50.31%。本研究結果發現：一、刪除(1題)後具有可接受的建構效度；二、兩個分量表的Cronbach α係數分別為.77及.82。整體而言經修訂復之中文健身運動自我呈現量表各向度具有可接受之信效度。

The purpose of the study was to examine the construct validity and internal reliability of the Chinese-version Self-Presentation in an Exercise Questionnaire (SPEQ) by Conroy, Motl, & Hall. Subjects were 248 aerobic class students, fitness club members, college students and other exercisers. The questionnaire was structured by factor analysis and item analysis, the outcome showed that the scale was composed by "self-presentational motivation" and "self­presentational construction", which accounted for 50.31 % of the total variance. The study found: (l)SPEQ had acceptable construct validity after deleting one item. (2) The coefficients of Cronbachαin two sub-scale were .77 and .82. In summary, there were acceptable reliability and validity in the Chinese-version SPEQ.
