本人作了一個簡短的研究：一所天主教大學怎樣能提高大學群體的優質生活。人生哲學和專業倫理的主要課程，與服務學習為焦點的整合，正能創造改進優質生活的氛圍。在制定一些有助於一個更優質的生活、推廣價值和倫理動機的架構之際，宗教的影響力就會突顯出來。我們發現很多才華橫溢、既慷慨又富有創意的教授，雖對宗教的動力稍遜，但他們卻深深認同天主教大學的價值觀和理念。

This is a short study of the efforts made by a Catholic University to raise the quality of life of all members of the university community. The core curriculum of philosophy of life and professional ethics, combined with a special focus on service-learning, are creating the context for improving quality of life. The impact of religion is seen mostly at the level of the establishment of structures favoring a better quality of life and the promotion of values and ethical motivation. It is found that many of the most gifted, generous and creative professors have no obvious religious motivation but have a deep identification with the values of the Catholic university.
